About Us
GFUMC Preschool has, again, been named a School of Excellence by the preschool directors association of the North Georgia UMC. This distinction is only awarded to schools who create an environment where students develop to their potential spiritually, socially, and academically, so it truly is an honor to receive this certification.
Thank you for your interest in GFUMC Preschool. We are committed to serving children by providing a safe community of belonging. We encourage our students to wonder and have value for all God's creation while preparing them to learn, problem solve and experience life. All of this can be accomplished while at play - FUN in the doing!
Our program provides opportunity for these experiences with loving and dedicated staff who help each child be his or her best.

Weekly Music Class & P.E. Classes

GFUMC Preschool opened its doors in the fall of 1980 with high hopes of loving, teaching and sharing the word of God to all the little ones who entered. We have been doing this for 40-plus years now and are still just as excited today as we were back then. From infants through Pre-K, we offer classes that teach young children and we have fun with them! Thanks to an engaging staff, wonderful pastoral assistance and terrific volunteers, the GFUMC Preschool is a warm and inviting environment for your child to thrive in. We welcome you to come check us out and join the thousands of students who have traveled through our program.
