Nearly every day, children in our community are rescued from abusive or neglectful situations. Gainesville First is dedicated to being a place where those children and their foster families can find support. 

Great Day of Service

The people of Gainesville First serve our community for the Great Day of Service. In 2017, the love of Christ was shown as over 350 volunteers completed 37 unique service projects in the Gainesville/Hall County Area. 

Great Day of Service Golf Tournament

The Great Day of Service Golf Tournament directly funds the Great Day of Service and other local outreach ministries. Join us for a fun day of golf, and leave an eternal impact on Gainesville!

Path United at Baker Glover Community Center

Gainesville First has partnered with the Path United to empower kids and students in the Baker Glover community through relationships and education.

In 2018, we opened a Community Center in the Baker Glover Mobile Home Park to provide programs that are designed using research-based best practices and are led by certified teachers and youth development specialists who serve alongside incredible volunteers. We will offer onsite programs including Preschool Mommy and Me/Story Time, Elementary Homework and Reading Clubs, Middle and High School Leadership Clubs, FCA Soccer Teams and Summer Camp opportunities.
