“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16. This verse teaches that the central act of our faith - the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus - is an act of generosity.

The guiding question for us during this generosity series is: “What does it look like for me to live a generous life?” Our generosity is a response to the generous gift of forgiveness and eternal life that has been gifted to us.

I want to invite you to join the staff of GFUMC on Wednesday, October 16 at 6:30pm in the Reception Hall as we celebrate how God has been generous through the mission and ministry of the church and reflect on how we will live out generosity as a community of faith in 2020. This will be a time of discussion around our 2020 budget.

The nursery and opportunities for your child to participate in the children’s ministry Glow Nights program will be available.
