Gainesville First UMC is honored to partner with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America, including Troop 16 which has been impacting the young people in our community for over 100 years!

If your child is interested in joining one of these scouting programs or if you are interested in volunteering, please contact one of the leaders below.

Cub Scouts

K-5th grade

Cub Scouts exist to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Pack 16 is a family pack that welcomes boys and girls in K-5th grade.

Scouts BSA

(6th grade-18yrs)

Scouts BSA exists to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
