Psalm 96:3 says, “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.” At Gainesville First, we believe God is calling us to show and tell of His goodness among all the peoples of the earth. We are involved in mission opportunities and partnerships all over the world. We want to invite you to join with us in going to the ends of the earth to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

ARUSHA LUTHERAN MEDICAL CENTRE
Tanzania / Steve & Jodi Swanson Family
Dr. Steve Swanson, his wife Jodi, and their three children have been called to join God on mission among the wonderful people of Tanzania.
Training and equipping of Tanzanian healthcare professionals
Care of young Tanzanian children with severe acute malnutrition
Delivery of subsidized medical care to critically ill term and preterm newborn babies.
EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH
Romania / Dave & Jen Cox
We have served and provide funding to:
Lead a ministry team of 10 in Bucharest
Building a healthy team, providing strategic
leadership, mobilizing resources and developing leaders through coaching
Area leader in ReachGlobal
FOR HIS KINDGOM
Honduras / Reed & Kim Skinner Family
We have served and provide funding to:
Teach life skills and bring hope to single young mothers in Tegucigalpa living in poverty
Sponsor conferences to teach and encourage Honduran pastors
Take the word of Christ, food and medical help into the mountains of the indigenous people
COMMISSION TO EVERY NATION
Honduras / Mike & Karen Madsen
We have served and provide funding to:
Build a vocational education shop and education program to teach boys a trade that can be used to support themselves and their family when they leave Emmanuel
Teach parenting skills to young girls who have no life experience to be loving nurturing parents
Teach classes on conflict resolution, anger management and self-esteem to children who have been thrown away by their families and their country
Work to make changes throughout the compound to reduce energy and water consumption
ORPHANAGE EMMANUEL
Honduras
We have served and provide funding to:
Help house, feed and educate 500 children daily, many of whom have been physically and sexually abused
Pay shipping for a container to deliver much needed supplies to sustain the orphanage with items they are unable to purchase locally
Send mission teams for 3 weeks to share the love of Christ through loving, caring relationships with those that feel most abandoned
NORTH SHORE HONDURAS
Honduras
We have served and provide funding to:
Provide medical care to 594 patients
Lead 215 children in VBS classes
Establish a science lab and training with teachers at Utila Methodist School
Pour a large concrete pad for a staircase
Built and painted classroom book cases
