Middle school

MSM exists because middle school students deserve a place to call their own: a place to have fun learning who they are, who God is, and to grow with God alongside friends.

Sundays at 9:45am

We meet in the Common Grounds Coffee House at 9:45am for some time to catch up with friends, play video games, listen to music and to just hang out. After brief announcements, we break out into grade level Sunday School rooms where we learn more about God’s word.

Tuesdays at 7:00am

We meet for Jumpstart on Tuesdays at Longstreet Café at 7am during the school year and 11:30am during the summer. Come and share a great meal and fellowship as well as a short student-led devotional. During the school year, we are finished in plenty of time to get to school and provide transportation for those who don’t drive.  During the summer, we participate in a variety of activities such as movies, bowling, SkyZone, Tubin’ the ‘Hooch.

Wednesdays at 5:30pm

On Wednesday evenings, we meet for Ignite MSM in Common Grounds for  "pregame" from 5:30pm-6pm. Dinner is $3.Worship is at 6:15 in Grace Hall.  Our small group time is spent discussing the current series and how God's word applies to our lives.

Confirmation

Once a year, our students participate in confirmation - this is open to all students who have not been confirmed. Students learn about the claim and meaning of Christian faith; the history and teachings and The United Methodist Church; and an explanation of the baptismal and professing membership vows.

YOUTH MUSIC

Praise and Worship is student-led on Sunday evenings and the also play periodically in Worship Sunday mornings.
