Join us at Gadabouts on Wednesday, July 17 for: Organ 101
Following significant work on the sanctuary pipe organ to address problems affecting its primary structural support and overall sound, Keith Jefcoat, our principal organist for more than 30 years, will use hymns and other well-known pieces to illustrate the many sounds and moods this one instrument can create. These were the first repairs on the organ since 2007 and cost approximately $52,000. We will meet in the sanctuary for the program and then move to the Reception Hall for lunch.
Menu: Sliced ham on croissants, fresh fruit, broccoli, chips, and brownies. The cost for lunch is $5.
