Using the framework of Henri J. Nouwen's classic work "Reaching Out", this study, facilitated by Dick Baxter, will focus on the spiritual life as a series of movements. In order to proceed towards maturity in Christ, Nouwen suggests that we need to move from: loneliness to solitude, hostility to hospitality and from illusion to prayer. This study is open to all and intends to be a guide that will help us learn how to accept ourselves, love others more effectively and learn to love God more passionately.
