Sunday, December 5 / 2-5pm / Green Street

Have you always wanted to be in a parade? Here is your chance. On Sunday, December 5, 2:00 - 5:00pm the Gainesville community will kick-off the season with the annual tradition of Christmas on Green Street. Float prep starts at 2pm, the parade starts at 4pm.

The evening begins with a parade and is followed by events along Green Street that includes strolling magicians, face painters, balloon artists, storyteller, jugglers, Santa Claus, miniature train rides, carriage rides, and food trucks. It is a wonderful evening for the entire family.

We are participating this year in the parade and will be set up on Green Street. We are looking for adults and children of all ages who would like to participate in the parade by riding on the float or walking alongside.
