Hunger doesn’t end when the school year is over. Many of the children who participate in our After School program from the Baker and Glover community receive free and reduced-price lunches during their school, but when the summer comes, they don’t have access to nutritious lunches.

This year we have volunteered to provide and deliver 100 lunches to the children at the Baker Glover community each weekday from May 26 through July 31. Sack lunches consist of a sandwich, a fruit snack, a salty snack and a drink. Total cost per lunch is about $1.25 per lunch which includes bags and other needed supplies.

Join our virtual food drive to support this ministry. Sponsor the cost of a lunch for a child for the summer and let volunteer teams do the shopping for you. $25 provides a lunch for a child for 20 days.
