Families are the fastest growing segment of the homeless population in the United States. 1 in 30 American children will experience homelessness this year and in 1 in 5 will live in poverty.

Gainesville First partners with Family Promise to bridge the divide between homelessness and sustainability for families in Hall County. Family Promise is a community based comprehensive response to homelessness. Family Promise relies on the volunteer support of Gainesville First.

On Sunday, August 25 we will have an informational meeting about ways we can get involved and make a difference in the lives of homeless families in Hall County.

Also, on Sunday, August  25 we will be collecting diapers for Family Promise. You can drop them off in the Reception Hall before the informational meeting immediately after 10:55am worship.
