The 2019 SOF season begins with the sounds of brilliant brass and percussion in a concert by the 30-piece University of Georgia British Brass Band, led by bandmaster Philip Smith. Founded in 2014, this ensemble has quickly become a favorite of audiences of all ages in performances in Athens and around the Atlanta area. Its popularity is due in part to its unique sound, instrumentation, and the exceptional musicianship of its performers. Free event!
