Rev. Liz Millar is being ordained as a Deacon in the North Georgia Conference and David Lee will be licensed as a part time local pastor. You are invited to attend the service at the Classic Center in Athens, Wednesday, June 13 at 7:30pm in the Theatre.  We have a bus leaving the church at 4:30pm, stopping for dinner at the Varsity in Athens, then going to the Classic Center Theatre for the service. Call Jackie in the Church Office for a spot on the bus, or if you prefer to drive, you can meet us there.

GFUMC and Antioch UMC will enter into a Cooperative Parish as David Lee will be appointed as the part-time local pastor of Antioch at Annual Conference this year. David and his wife, Holli, and their three children, have been members of Gainesville First United Methodist Church since 2005.
